Gators in the NFL - Week 7


There were 32 former University of Florida football players on NFL rosters in Week 7.  Half of those 32 players started, while 27 earned playing time.

·         DE Alex Brown, New Orleans – started at left end in the Saints’ loss to Cleveland, finishing with two quarterback hurries
·         WR Andre Caldwell, Cincinnati – caught one pass for 10 yards in the Bengals’ loss to Atlanta
·         G Cooper Carlisle, Oakland – started at right guard in the Raiders’ win at Denver
·         WR Riley Cooper, Philadelphia – started at wide receiver in the Eagles’ loss to Tennessee, catching three passes for 51 yards, including his first career touchdown pass
·         LB Channing Crowder, Miami – started at inside linebacker in the Dolphins’ loss to Pittsburgh, tallying three tackles
·         LB Jermaine Cunningham, New England – started at outside linebacker in the Patriots’ win at San Diego, racking up three tackles
·         LB Andra Davis, Buffalo – started at middle linebacker in the Bills’ overtime loss to Baltimore, tallying six tackles
