Men's Tennis Continues Action At Napa Valley Classic

The University of Florida men’s tennis team continued action at the Napa Valley Classic in St. Helena, Calif., on Saturday.

Ninth-ranked senior Alexandre Lacroix (Paris, France) scored his second straight-sets win of the Napa Valley Classic, downing Illinois’ Johnny Hamui, 6-2, 6-2. Sophomore Sekou Bangoura Jr. (Bradenton, Fla.) scored his second three-set victory at the California event, this time topping USC’s No. 65 Jaak Poldma, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (3), while Bob van Overbeek (Boca Raton, Fla.) dropped his Saturday match with Vasko Mladenov of Texas, 7-6 (4), 6-1.
