Florida Gators running back Jeff Demps, a 2008 South Lake High graduate, gets the ball from quarterback John Brantley en route to a 72-yard touchdown run, a bright spot in last week's uninspiring 34-12 win over Miami of Ohio.
Along with his No. 1 running-back duties, Demps will return kicks this season for the Gators, who host South Florida today.
It'll take a little extra toll on his body, but he's excited to get the ball in a different situation.
"You gotta be a little tough," he said. "All those guys are screaming down the field to take your head off."
