Starting as the No. 4 team in the AP preseason fell, Florida fell to eighth after beating Miami (Ohio) 34-12 in week one. Against USF, the Gators won 38-14 but dropped to 10th in the poll.
Now, after beating Tennessee 31-17, the Gators move up a spot to ninth.
