Florida vs. Tennessee Game Day Information

Florida travels to Knoxville to open its SEC slate against rival Tennessee. The Gators come in 2-0, fresh off a 38-14 win against in-state foe USF. Tennessee sits at 1-1 after falling to Oregon, 48-13.

This marks the 40th meeting all-time between the teams, with UF holding a 20-19 edge in the series. The Gators are 5-0 against Tennessee under head coach Urban Meyer, including 2-0 on the road.

Florida brings winning streaks of 22 regular-season games, 12 road games and 14 regular-season SEC games into the matchup with Tennessee.

Florida’s eight interceptions through the first two games are twice as many as any SEC school has and two more than any other school in the nation. UF is one of only two teams in the nation to have multiple interception returns for a touchdown (Nebraska).
