GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida football team will open spring practice on Wednesday, March 16, and hold the annual Orange & Blue Debut on Saturday, April 9 at 1 p.m. The Orange & Blue Debut will be streamed on GatorVision and carried on the Gator Radio Network. Sun Sports broadcast details will be announced at a later time.
In all, UF will hold the permissible 15 practices in the spring. More details on practice and public viewing policies will be announced at a later date.
This spring marks the first practices held under new head football coach Will Muschamp, hired by UF on Dec. 11, 2010, and his staff. The Gators are coming off an Outback Bowl win with a team that had 23 seniors.
Florida opens its 2011 season on Sept. 3 against Florida Atlantic at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at Florida Field.
