LSU had its best offensive day of the season against Tennessee last week, rotating Lee and Jefferson in and out of the game. Lee finished the day with 185 passing yards and one interception. Jefferson had 100 rushing yards, 30 passing yards and two interceptions.
LSU's rushing game continued to excel against Tennessee. The running backs had 219 yards and two touchdowns.
The Gators' freshman quarterback Trey Burton had a breakout game against Kentucky two weeks ago, scoring six touchdowns (five rushing, one receiving). Burton has 60 rushing yards on 15 attempts with 7 touchdowns.
John Brantley, the other Gator quarterback, has 902 passing yards and six passing touchdowns this season.
