Teammate Alaina Johnson’s Jan. 28 all-around performance (39.60) is the highest total so far this year.

The freshman also collected her first event titles for the uneven bars (9.90) and balance beam (9.925) against No. 6 Alabama.

Caquatto joined the Gators for the spring semester after competing for the U.S. team which took the silver in the 2010 World Gymnastics Championship in October.

Caquatto is the third Gator to earn recognition from the SEC this season. Johnson is a three-time recipient of the SEC Freshman of the Week honor and sophomore Ashanée Dickerson was named the SEC Gymnast of the Week on Jan. 25.

Next up, the No. 1 Gator gymnastics team heads to Athens, Ga., to face No. 4 Georgia in a sold-out Stegeman Coliseum on Feb. 12. Saturday’s meet airs tape-delayed on ESPNU Feb. 17 at 7 p.m.
