Florida Gators' Chandler Parsons out indefinitely with deep thigh bruise

Florida Gators senior forward Chandler Parsons' deep thigh bruise has led to some internal bleeding, and his status for this Sunday's LSU game is unknown.

"I would say he's out right now, for how long I don't know,'' Florida coach Billy Donovan said Monday. "I don't envision him practicing at least until possibly Thursday or Friday maybe. He's got a deep, deep thigh bruise that's actually started to bleed. He's got some bleeding inside his leg right now. He's on crutches. And how well he responds over the next three or four days will determine whether or not he'll play on Sunday.''
Parsons was injured early in the first half of Saturday's game against Tennessee when he collided with teammate Alex Tyus as they both went for a rebound.

"He told me he landed on Alex's foot and he couldn't really put any pressure on it,'' senior C Vernon Macklin said after the game.

The Gators have a midweek bye and won't play again until Sunday.
