The Gator Soccer team will be featured on today’s edition of SEC Weekly. Tune in to ESPNU at 5 p.m. to catch a segment on the team’s 11th SEC title in 16 years.
The Gators clinched their fifth consecutive Southeastern Conference regular-season title Friday with a 1-0 victory against South Carolina. SEC Tournament play begins Thursday in Orange Beach, Ala., and the Gators are hoping to capture the crown.
SEC Weekly will also feature fifth-year senior Ashlee Elliott, who returned to the team for a final year of eligibility despite a knee injury that kept her out of last year’s SEC Tournament play. Elliott was one of five Gator soccer players named as a 2010 All-SEC honoree, and she has been part of the SEC Championship-winning team every year of her Florida career.
The program will air again Thursday at 1 a.m. and 1 p.m. on ESPNU.
