Gators fall to No. 14 in AP, coaches polls

After an eight-point loss at Kentucky on Saturday ended Florida’s six-game winning streak, the Gators have dropped one spot in the AP and ESPN/USA Today Coaches polls.

Florida had been slowly rising in the polls since starting their win streak. Saturday’s loss was the Gators’ only defeat in February as they beat Vanderbilt and Kentucky at home in the same week to get inside the top 20. Florida was ranked as high as No. 13 as the Gators took wins over South Carolina, Tennessee, LSU and Georgia.

Florida finishes the regular season with Western Division leader Alabama in the O’Connell Center on Tuesday night and with a trip to No. 21 Vanderbilt on Saturday.
