Florida-BYU set for 7:27 p.m. on Thursday, Gus Johnson to call it on TBS

The NCAA set the start time for Florida’s Sweet 16 game against BYU for 7:27 p.m. on Thursday. TBS will air it with high-volume play-by-play man Gus Johnson on the broadcast. The game, part of the Southeast Region, will precede Wisconsin vs. Butler at the New Orleans Arena.
The winners will play Saturday for a trip to the Final Four.

A surprising weekend in the NCAA Tournament left Florida (28-7) as the highest-seeded team remaining in the Southeast. No. 1 Pittsburgh lost to Butler on Saturday.

The Gators and BYU, the No. 7 seed, met in the first round of last year’s NCAA Tournament, with Jimmer Fredette and the Cougars pulling out a 99-92 win in double overtime.
