WR Chris Dunkley suspended for part of spring practice

Chris Dunkley saw his first fall at Florida cut short by a hamstring injury, and the promising redshirt freshman wide receiver's first spring isn't off to a much better start.

Florida coach Will Muschamp said that Dunkley is suspended from the team at this point and has been for "parts" of the spring for academic reasons.

"He just academically needs to handle some things, so that's where we are right now," Muschamp said.
Dunkley was a sought-after recruit, rated the No. 8 wide receiver in the country by Rivals.com out of Pahokee High School. The 6-foot, 172-pound wideout figured to see time immediately last year, but he injured his hamstring early in fall camp and couldn't get on the field as a freshman.
