ATHENS, Ga. -- No. 4 Florida moved into a share of second place in the SEC East baseball standings Friday after defeating Georgia 5-4.
The Gators improved to 27-8 overall and 10-3 in the SEC after their ninth straight win over the Bulldogs. Georgia fell to 18-17 and 8-5.South Carolina leads the East at 11-2 after defeating Vanderbilt, which shares 2nd with UF, on Friday.
Hudson Randall improved to 6-1 and Austin Maddox supplied the winning run with a two-run single in the 7th.
