Florida defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, who was wooed by the Tampa
Bay Buccaneers in January, received an $80,000 signing bonus for signing
a contract extension with UF in February.
The Sun received a copy of Qunn’s contract Monday, along with those of other UF assistants, through a public records request.
Quinn’s new contract pays him an annual salary of $510,000 and runs
through the 2013 season. Quinn also receives an $80,000 retention bonus
if he is at UF through the 2013 season.
Linebackers coach/special
teams coordinator D.J. Durkin and running backs coach Brian White also
received contract extensions and raises.
Durkin’s new contract,
signed in February, increases his annual salary to $340,000 from
$240,000 and runs through the 2013 season.
White’s contract was extended through the 2012 season and pays him an annual salary of $290,000, a raise of $50,000.
Tight ends coach Derek Lewis, defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson
and defensive line coach Bryant Young were extended through the 2012
season but did not receive raises.
