Muschamp expects better results on field

After going 15-11 over the past two seasons, Florida coach Will Muschamp said at the team's media day Thursday that it's “time for the Gators to stop talking and start playing on the field.”

Muschamp said 15-11 is well below UF standards and is not acceptable.

In his address to the media, Muschamp said he expects the Gators to be better in 2012.

Muschamp said there is no change in the quarterback battle between true sophomores Jacoby Brissett and Jeff Driskel. The two are even for the starting role and will begin competing again with the open of practice Friday.

Muschamp said “we'll know when it's right” to name the starter.
