Behind a season-high 15 blocks, the No. 3 Florida volleyball
team stayed unbeaten in Southeastern Conference play with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-22,
25-12) sweep of Ole Miss Sunday. Florida’s 15 blocks are the most in a single
match since Oct. 5, 2012 against Arkansas (16.5).
Sophomore middle blocker Simone Antwi led the block
party for the Gators with a career-high-tying seven blocks (two solo, five
assists) against the Rebels. Antwi was second on the team with 12.5 points as
she also slammed seven kills.
