Gators Win Fourth Consecutive Pinch A Penny All Florida Invitational

The University of Florida Swimming and Diving program displayed its depth in capturing the teams’ fourth consecutive Pinch A Penny All Florida Invitational. Both the Gator men’s and women’s sqauds defeated programs from the state of Florida in a postseason style format with early morning prelims and evening finals.

Over the course of the three-day meet, the Orange and Blue registered 21 NCAA provisional cuts. On the final day of competition, the Gators emerged victorious in 10 out of 12 events. Throughout the weekend, the Gator teams brought home victories in all five relays.

Teams: Florida State, University of Miami, Nova Southeastern, North Florida, Southern Florida and Florida Gulf Coast attended the three-day meet at the O’Connell Center. The Seminoles will return to Gainesville for a dual meet on Jan. 4.
