Florida wins another SEC All-Sports award

Florida's athletic program again dominated the SEC All-Sports competition, sweeping all three categories.
UF won the All-Sports award, presented by the New York Times Regional Newspaper Group, for the 21st time in 24 years.

The Gators won eight SEC titles, tying their own record of eight in 1991-92 and Georgia in 2005-06 for the most in conference history.

Florida has won the women's title 18 times and the men's 15 times.

Uf finished with a final score of 10.03, a score derived by taking the finish of each sporst team on a 12-11-10, etc. basis based on finish and dividing by the number of sports each school, participated in.

Georgia finished a distant second with an average of 8.69.

In the men's competition, the Gator men finished with an average of 10.21. Georgia finished second. In the women's competition, Florida had an average of 9.89. Tennessee was second.

Florida is the only school in All-Sports history to have swept all three categories.
