LEXINGTON, Ky. – Florida muscled up Saturday to win its third SEC Tournament championship with a 10-4 win over Missouri.
The
Gators (52-7) hit three home runs, a triple and a double to add the
tourney title to their regular-season championship. UF also won both
regular-season and tourney titles in 2008 and 2009.
Florida now awaits Sunday's NCAA Tournament seeding and regional pairings.
Because
of inclement weather Friday, the tourney semifinals were played earlier
Saturday. Florida defeated Georgia and Missouri handled Tennessee to
set up the finale.
