No matter how much the Gators and Seminoles struggle, their annual meeting at the end of the regular season is always important to both fan bases and usually a good draw on TV.
This year’s game, which is next Saturday at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, will kick off at 7 p.m. and air on ESPN2.
Because it is at Florida, the game falls under the SEC’s television contracts. CBS had first pick of SEC games and selected Alabama-Auburn for its 3:30 p.m. slot.
Assuming the Gators beat Furman on Saturday (1 p.m., pay-per-view), they will be bowl eligible and have one more game after facing FSU.
